As Head of Innovation & Product Management, you will report directly to Head of Products & Strategy. You will be the line manager for a team of product management resources and have budget responsibility. The position is based in Järfälla, expatriate contracts could be considered for international applicants. The role requires travelling.
More specifically, as Head of Innovation & Product Management, you will have responsibility for:
* Product Life Cycle Management-process
* Innovation process
* R&D activities
* Domain plans
* Product plans
* University collaborations
* EU projects
* Patents
Furthermore, the Head of Innovation and Product Management will actively engage in:
* Marketing & Sales support
* Bid work
You will be part of the Products & Strategy leadership team where focus will be to lead the transformation into a fully product driven business unit. You will strive to deliver the highest quality products into the market and make sure that the members in your team are growing. As Head of Innovation & Product Management, you will work closely with stakeholders across Saab to make sure that you support the business unit's short- and long-term goals. You must have the ability to challenge status quo and seek out new perspectives - we are looking for someone who sees what needs to be done, and leads the change. You are a person that people want to follow.
Your profile
We believe you have:
* A relevant university degree and/or equivalent military background
* Proven experience as Head of Product Management or similar leadership role
* In-depth knowledge of military mission systems
* A proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results
* Excellent leadership, communication and relationship building skills
* Good knowledge in English, both verbally and written. Swedish is a plus.
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
