Solution management centres on understanding customer needs and the competitive landscape in order to continuously improve our offering to the customers, thereby increasing our profitability and driving the shift towards a sustainable transport system.
The Industry Solutions department pivots around understanding in depth our customers and their business. With global responsibility, this task is massive so the team is split up by focusing on different industries and applications. This knowledge is crucial to ensure that we develop our current business and ensure success in the development of our future offering.
Scania is transforming, and the whole transport industry is transforming. For Industry Solutions this means that we need to understand new areas and guide the organisation into new territory where we will be forced to make many decisions. This is a very exciting, dynamic and challenging environment to work in.
Job Responsibilities
There are three main parts of the team's responsibility which you will be responsible for leading:
To develop our current business by ensuring at we make best use of the current product offering. This involves working together with Business units to segment the markets into different applications, find further potential by refining the marketed range and traditional marketing methods.
To secure that long term company targets are fulfilled with our future product offering through the identifying future product requirements, roadmaps and market strategies.
Working with Presales teams around the world where your team has a key role in go to market activities related to new product launches. Your team will take an active part in defining launch strategies and deploying them via Market Introduction.
All of this combined offers a multifaceted job with lots of opportunities to influence Scania's business success and purpose of driving the shift towards a sustainable transport system.
You will also be a key member in the management team of Solutions Management where you will be expected to actively contribute to the development the whole department.
Who You Are
In applying for this job it is likely that you have:
Prior experience as a leader, who is inspiring and can lead change.
Experience in Product Management or other areas with either a technology or business focus.
Strong communication skills as you will be working with different cultures, individuals and departments both internally at head office, and around the globe.

An established network and understanding of the Scania organisation
Knowledge on our product offering and commercial experience.
Flexibility and appreciation to handle a mixture of both hands-on straight forward tasks as well as more complex issues.
The ability to work efficiently with Microsoft 365.
Master English fluently. Swedish is not required
