The Position
The preclinical research and development organisation at Karo Bio spans from medicinal chemistry to non-clinical development and consists of 50 people organized in five sections. We are now looking for a new head of one of the sections; In vitro pharmacology, ADME and bioanalysis. This section consists of eleven direct reports and serves our research and development projects with experimental results, expertise and documentation. The section head is part of the preclinical R&D management team and reports to the VP Preclinical R&D/CSO.
Your profile
• MSc or comparable, preferable PhD within relevant area
• Profound experience from the pharmaceutical industry within the fields of ADME and/or in vitro pharmacology
• Leadership skills
• In depth understanding of early drug development
• Experience of matrix organisations and/or project management
• Well-organized and great communication skills
• Ability to collaborate across sections, departments and with other companies.
• Experience of outsourcing.
• Nuclear receptor knowledge is a major merit
