We are now looking for a Head of Hybrid Transmission Controls and Calibration with a great ability to motivate people in an ever-changing environment!
Geely Powertrain develops technologically advanced and efficient electric hybrid and fully electric propulsion systems for Geely Auto, Proton, Lotus, LEVC, LYNK & CO and Volvo Cars. Geely Powertrain also supplies third-party manufacturers, providing exciting growth opportunities. The gradual electrification of the automotive industry means there will be significant ongoing demand for efficient hybrid powertrains alongside fully electric offerings. Geely Powertrain has the resources, scale and expertise to develop these powertrains.

As Head of Hybrid Transmission Controls and Calibration, you will be the manager of a growing team that currently consists of fifteen people. You will be a part of the Hybrid Transmission Sweden management team and report to the Head of Hybrid Transmission organization in Sweden. That's cornerstones in your leadership as well. As Head of Hybrid Transmission Controls and Calibration, you will be based in Lindholmen, Gothenburg.
Responsibilities and deliverables:
• Leading the SoftWare team in SoftWare development, calibration and testing. Ensure that the team can deliver projects on time with good quality.
• Develop the competence and productivity of the team in line with the company strategy.
• Continuously optimize the SoftWare development processes and methods together with the team.
• Develop and align methods and toolchain together with Geely Powertrain colleagues in China.
• Ensure that appropriate processes and procedures for software development are followed.
• Together with each team member develop individual objectives in line with the company objectives.
• Hire and train new team members.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in leading SW development teams
• Understanding of modern SoftWare development methods
• Extensive experience in powertrain control and calibration
• Knowledge about ASPICE
• You can keep track of trends within the automotive industry and software development area
• You have a good understanding of European and Chinese culture
