Description
Would you like to lead the Nordic HR Country Services organisation within Tetra Pak?
As Head of HR Country Services you are responsible for driving and developing the HR Country Service to the Nordic and Baltic countries. You will lead a team with experienced HR Country and Factory Representatives specialised in labour law, labour and government relations, local policies, local reward services, reporting and compliance. Your most important task will be to coordinate the team activities, but you will also take on an operational role in more complex negotiations and activities. You will work closely with business leaders and different HR stakeholders, especially with the HR Service Centres delivering operational HR services to the geographies.
The position is based in Lund, Sweden and reports to the HR Operations Leader, Europe Central Asia Middle East and Africa.
Main responsibilities
• Lead and develop a high performing team with HR Specialists.
• Guarantee the quality and application of benefits across the geography.
• Secure compliance to local labour law.
• Implement and govern applicable local country policies.
• Drive labour relations strategy.
• Manage government relations and reporting; monitor changes in country regulations and ensuring compliance.
• Interact with internal and external lawyers and representing the company in court.
• Managing the termination process.
• Ensure compliance with the relevant legislation related to Occupational Health and Safety.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have a strong personal drive for results and the ability to motivate and develop others. You will be working in partnership with many key stakeholders internally and externally and your collaboration, engagement and leadership skills will be essential. You are comfortable working across functions, geographies and levels.
You are an experienced HR professional with strong knowledge in the areas of local labour law and reward and experience in managing relations with unions, government, and immigration authorities. Apart from Sweden, we believe you have covered other geographies in your previous roles.
You are a strong leader and we highly value former managerial experience. You have a track record of driving change and have successfully built relationships with internal clients, colleagues, authorities and external partners. You possess a high level of integrity and autonomy, used to taking the lead, prioritising and planning. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
