Volumental is a young and supportive company with a friendly, talented and diverse team of 30 people, currently comprising over 15 nationalities. We have a collaborative atmosphere and believe in developing our employees and growing our business while having fun at work.

At Volumental, we're passionate about creating a great shopping experience and helping people find the best products for them (both fit and style) - starting with shoes. To do that we 3D scan people's feet and use AI to find or create shoes that fit you perfectly. This data also helps our customers, mainly world leading brands, to develop better products. We do this by utilizing our beautifully designed high tech software and hardware, at present unparalleled in the global retail industry.

We're also in a strong growth phase. Since we started rolling out in 2016, our scanners are now in stores in 35 countries and help thousands of people every day find shoes that fit. So we're a crucial part of making retail more efficient, personalized and sustainable.

What's our next big challenge?

We're growing rapidly (hired 12 people already this year) and continue to build both great products and a great company with happy, motivated and productive team members. Our culture will need extra care and reinforcement as we grow past 30 people, open a US office and step up our hiring game.

What's your part in this?

We have three main goals for the company to succeed this year. One of those is to be the best employer in Stockholm. You'll be our first full time People Person, with free reigns to make this happen and with the well-being of the whole company at your fingertips. Currently this area is run by Caroline Walerud (Co-founder and Executive Chairperson) on a part-time basis, with help from the rest of the team - but we want someone who can put their full focus and soul into this! You'll report to our CEO. You'll work independently, collaborate closely with other managers, and interface with the whole organization.

Employer branding: You'll work strategically and operatively with the VP of Marketing on employer branding and recruitment events, to make sure we attract and retain the best talent.
Hiring: You'll have an eye on the industry and the people we'd most like to hire, so that we can catch people just as they start thinking of changing jobs. You'll work closely with each team's manager to make sure the hiring process works smoothly. We will be hiring a lot this coming year (so far in 2018 already 12 people), so this will be a big part of your job!
Onboarding: Once hired, you'll make sure that new team members are welcomed in the best way, with the resources they need to feel at home and become productive as fast as possible.
Community building, skill building and career development: Together with our team leads you will organize workshops and kick-offs, and you will help team members grow, gain insights, contribute to strategy, and work better together. You'll help the managers become better leaders. You get to run our monthly team events and rule the teambuilding and fun budget!
Scaling HR and company processes: You'll aim to make the above tasks and other processes smooth and scalable, so that we avoid too much growing pain.
