The platform is based on USB-C and by using this standard we can build a flexible solution that is very easy to install, configure and operate. Most people use USB-C every day, which makes our foundation robust and familiar.Ochno is now looking for the person to lead both the hardware engineering and the embedded software development for this platform. In this key position you'll have the responsibility for the entire hardware process from specifying hardware requirements and collaborate with international suppliers to developing and defining the architecture for the embedded software. As the team expands you will be able to lead your own team of talented engineers, pushing the limits for the ways we use technology in the future.Your will work close both with software team developing Ochno's cloud and IoT platform Ochno Operated which provides all digital services for operating the worlds future buildings. Ochno does also use an international network for supply of hardware devices which you will be managing as well.Since Ochno develops all embedded software in-house, your most relevant experience is from this field, but an interest and experience in hardware design in general will give you the advantage of understanding the fast-paced progress that software and hardware make together.Other technology know-how and experiences that is relevant is LED-lighting, video signaling and of course everything related to the USB-standard.Our processes are agile and due to a lack of legacy we are able to use modern tools and ways of working. With the help of cutting-edge technology we do rapid development of complex and distributed services. Our IoT-platform is built upon Amazon Web Services, which includes FreeRTOS as the real time operating system with Microchip and Cypress hardware and software platforms as the main tools.Do you feel the inspiration and have the above skills and mindset?
