Background
The Energy Division is in a transformation to clean technologies with many new business opportunities and a need to strengthen our team. Alfa Laval is active in the entire hydrogen value chain, where our heat transfer technologies are core components. Alfa Laval's proprietary technologies and heat transfer expertise, in combination with its global manufacturing capabilities, are essential to enable the acceleration of a hydrogen economy through our mission to facilitate affordable and efficient solutions at industrial scale. Together with our customers, we are now increasing our focus around innovative technologies for electrolyzer and fuel cell systems.
About the job
The Energy division is now looking for a Head of Global Key Account for the electrolyzer and fuel cell technologies' OEM business. You will have the responsibility of sales development of key accounts for electrolyzers and fuel cell technologies in the Energy division, with strategic as well as operational perspective. You will have focus on sales volume, gross margin, result and forecast and above all, you need to ensure customer satisfaction.
Your main responsibilities include:
Develop and implement the unit's sales strategy and activity plans to achieve set targets.

Successfully build and establish relationships with key accounts for the business.

Work closely with relevant functions Business development, product development and operations to build and grow the business.

In collaboration with Business controller, define and negotiate prices and conditions at global level of the product portfolio.

Set up Strategic Sales Plans for assigned key accounts.

Lead and develop the organization both locally and globally.
Ensure risk management tools and processes are in place and followed.

You are part of the business area's management team and contribute to driving the business forward from a holistic perspective.


You will either be based in Lund or a commuting setup in Europe with frequent travel to Lund, Sweden. You will report to Vice President Energy Division, the president of the business area. The job will require travel up to 20-30 days per year.
Who you are
You are business-minded with a strong ability to build long-lasting relationships. You're clear in your communication and a proactive mediator. As a person, you are structured and analytical and know how to convert customer and market insights to a business plan. As a person you are positive, customer driven with a target-oriented mindset as well as a solution-oriented team player.
What you know
We believe you have a technical background with a degree in Engineering. You have several years' experience as key account manager and in the OEM business, and a successful track record based on senior sales and negotiation skills in combination with excellent communications skills. You have proven records of leadership experience, directly or indirectly.
As we operate in an international environment, it is key that you are fluent in both written and spoken English and understand how to work successfully in a cross-functional organization.
