• Lead the Data Engineering CoE to promote consistency, best practices, and continuous learning across all data teams.
• Support the migration from legacy data and AI platforms to the Global Data & AI (GDAI) ecosystem, ensuring a smooth transition and tangible business impact.
• Build and scale data engineering and platform teams, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture.
• Drive the design and implementation of scalable, reliable infrastructure for data and AI workloads, including pipelines, storage, and access layers.
• Champion modern architectures (e.g., lakehouse, real-time streaming, self-service analytics) and cloud-native solutions.
• Lead DevEx strategy for AI, Data, and Analytics Engineering-enabling seamless development, deployment, and experimentation through platform tooling, automation, and abstraction.
• Support a federated data culture through data mesh principles, empowering domain-oriented ownership and interoperability.
• Drive data discoverability across the organization through metadata management, cataloging, and intuitive platform interfaces.
• Establish best practices for software development, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and lifecycle management across data and AI systems.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and Responsible AI standards.
• Manage vendor relationships and cloud service providers, contributing to budget planning and contract negotiations.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in data and platform engineering, sharing insights internally and externally.
Who you are:
This high-impact role combines leadership, deep technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our platforms are scalable, secure, and deliver measurable business value through advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven innovation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in Software/Data Engineering, including 6+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience in building and operating large-scale data platforms and developer platforms in cloud environments.
