Within the Gateway organization, we focus on the development of Evolved Packet Gateway (EPG) as well as our new Packet Core Gateway (PCG), part of Ericsson's cloud-native offering for 5G Core.
We are now looking for a passionate leader to join us in the Gateway leadership team, within Product Development Unit (PDU) Packet Core (PC)! You will be heading the Gateway system management department, a unit consisting of 60 persons. The team is located at our office in Lindholmen, Gothenburg, but the department will also coordinate the global System Management activities within the Gateway area, via System Program Managers reporting to you.
You will
Lead and coach the general GW system management teams to develop and deliver requirement artefacts and system studies for Packet Core Controller (PCC), Packet Core Gateway (PCG) and Evolved Packet Gateway (EPG)
Be responsible for Gateway Customer Product Information, which is developed by a 3rd Party Supplier
Coach the system program managers to run an efficient and effective system programs for Gateway
Be the owner of Systemization and dimensioning for gateway product and network function capacity Drive process improvements and WoW for the system domain
Create an environment that empowers and motivates people and teams through mentoring, generating energy, providing clear expectations and support
Encourage collaboration between your team and others within the global Gateway and Packet Core Operations
Oversee and drive recruitment and staffing for your unit
To be successful in the role you must have
Solid experience in software development Agile, Lean and DevOps ways of working
Extensive experience in leading large and multi-site product development operations
Successful experience in inspiring change throughout organizations
Senior Leadership experience
Strong competence in Mobile Networks and Packet Core
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Track record of showing result orientation and interest to work with organizational as well as process change
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
