Within the Gateway organization, we focus on the development of Evolved Packet Gateway (EPG) as well as our new Packet Core Gateway (PCG) and Packet Core Controller (PCC), parts of Ericsson's cloud-native offering for 5G Core.
We are now looking for a passionate leader to join us in the Gateway leadership team, within Product Development Unit Packet Core.
You will be heading the Gateway Continuous Integration & Delivery (CI/CD) department, a unit consisting of 90 persons. The team is located at our office in Lindholmen, Gothenburg, but the department will also coordinate the global Integration, Quality Assurance and Release team activities within the Gateway area, via Section & Program Managers as well as other leaders reporting to you or your subordinates.
You will
Have global responsibility for Continuous Integration, System Test and Delivery of the Gateway products and operations
Lead the organization to drive CI strategies, staging test scope and CI nurse execution for the Gateway products
Lead the organization to execute System Test for the Gateway products, via efficient and effective test programs
Mentor and coach the release Program Managers that drives continuous delivery of Gateway software to our customers
Within Gateway be responsible for coordination with the engineering environment department within Packet Core, in the areas of test and integration infrastructure
Assign and be the main interface towards suppliers in Sweden and India, working within Integration, Quality assurance and release programs
Coach leaders and managers in the organization, to create an environment that empowers continuous improvement and motivates people and teams through, generating energy, providing clear expectations and support
Encourage collaboration between your team and others within the global Gateway and Packet Core Operations
Drive recruitment, staffing and competence management for your unit
To be successful in the role you must have
Solid experience in software development Agile, Lean and DevOps ways of working
Extensive experience in Continuous Integration, verification and delivery of Software
Extensive experience in leading large and multi-site product development operations
Successful experience in inspiring change throughout organizations
Senior Leadership experience
Adequate competence in Mobile Networks and Packet Core
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
A track record of showing result orientation and interest to work with organizational as well as process change
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
