hela Sverige The new multi brand studio, Geely Design Center Gothenburg, is a part of the multi-cultural global network of Geely Design studios dedicated to supporting the efforts of Geely Auto Group sub brands. Our Design Center in Gothenburg is the global headquarters for Geely Design and focuses on delivering great design for the two brands: Zeekr and Lynk & Co.
Our Studio Engineering consist of three teams. Exterior-, Interior- and CMF Studio Engineering. At the moment we are looking for a Head of Exterior Studio Engineering to strengthen the team. In this role you will act as an active link between Design and Engineering and manufacturing departments, providing support to the design departments with technical expertise securing that the technical solutions are maximized to meet Design intention and to deliver top quality. The role as a Manager for Exterior Studio Engineering team is broad and includes managerial, operational, and strategic work and responsibilities.

As the Head of Exterior Studio Engineering, you will be:
Leading the Exterior Studio Engineer team and establish relationships towards the cross functional departments at LYNK & Co and Zeekr Design.
Lead, coach, mentor and create an inspiring environment for the team where the team can grow, feel trust, and develop in their work environment as well as personal development.
Report to and be a part of DQ and Studio Engineering management team.
Participate, contribute, and influence development of our future products and processes interacting with highly committed colleagues from different parts of the organization with different cultures.
Creatively define new ways and solutions for workflow, work process and prerequisites for the S-E team to get the best conditions for a high productivity and output.
Inspiring, contributing to an environment where peoples are attracted to work.
You and your skills
You are an experienced manager with at least 10 years' experience within the automotive engineering or Design environment
You have proven leadership ability to build strong, self-driven teams
You are highly experienced in automotive project development phases and related processes
You have a strong interest in Automotive technology and innovations
You have a university degree in a related subject or the equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
