What will be your daily work in this role:
Responsibility for the ESG Reporting for Swedbank Group covering both CSRD and EU Taxonomy.
Drive initiatives in the ESG Reporting area comprising many areas of the bank.
Communication and explanation of new regulatory requirements and how they affect Swedbank.
Assure governance and an internal control environment in the ESG reporting area.
Aligning your work and the team's contribution to the bank's direction and strategy.
Defining clear responsibilities and priorities for your team members.
Ensuring the continuous development of your team and your own leadership skills.
Assessing and improving the performance of your team members.
Exercising coaching methods as part of your leadership style.

What is needed in this role:
Proven experience in leadership roles as head of a reporting unit in the financial sector or equivalent
Knowledge about CSRD and EU Taxonomy
Experience from reporting, specifically from Annual and Sustainability reports
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English and Swedish
Understanding how to achieve results through others and take accountability for your team members' and the team's performance
Ability to assess and improve performance
Good communication and collaboration with others
Contribute to the team members' well-being and sustainable performance
Bachelor's or Master's degree, in a related field such as business administration, environmental science or science

be part of an engaged team of professionals, who ensures correct and regulatory compliant ESG Reporting. Our team is in the driving seat for producing the Sustainability Statement according to the CSRD including activities and processes ensuring regulatory compliance. The team is also responsible for reporting according to the EU Taxonomy. Besides long experience and deep knowledge in the non-financial reporting topics, the team is also highly skilled in communication and coordination since there are many stakeholders in the bank delivering into the area. As manager for ESG Reporting you will lead a team of six employees. ESG reporting has been the responsibility of Group Finance since almost two years and is an evolving area that is not yet mature. Focus for the coming years is a lot about manage and implement regulatory changes in the area and make sure that processes and structures are established including definition of roles and responsibilities. You will be working with a confident team with high competence in the ESG area that can guide in decision makings and support in setting directions in a qualified manner. For IT development issues there is a team within Financial and ESG Reporting, Reporting change and development, that supports in ESG data matters and IT reporting solutions.
