What we are looking for:
We are recruiting a Head of Engineering for Aleris Healthcare Sweden. You will build an organization that plays an instrumental role in delivering on Aleris ambitious digitalizaton journey.
Your main focus is to build a world-class team of Engineers who - with modern ways of working - will create secure, scalable, adaptable and resiliant software solutions. To you, Agile and Devops aren't just misunderstood buzzwords, but the foundation on how to successfully architect such software.
You have a deep understanding of Software Engineering and its possibilities, and love the idea of leading a transformation from something traditional and manual to a modern business with a large degree of digital solutions. You will act as a role model across the organization, bridging the Tech function and the healthcare operations, and are able to attract, recruit and retain strong team members.
As a part of the role, you will engange in and contribute to the Tech organization's development within all areas - such as supplier management, infrastructure architecture and further strengthening the security footprint.
You will report to the CIO of Aleris Healthcare Sweden.
Skills and competencies required:
• Have a customer first-attitude. The Tech organization's sole purpose is to support Aleris' care takers
• Experience of working tightly together with an Information Security function
• Track record of designing complex technical roadmaps and executing on them
• Lead and built IT organizations on a senior level (head of or higher). Extra appreciated if it has been within the MedTech or Fintech areas
• Lead infrastructure functions, with high uptime- as well as
• Operated in a highly regulated environment with sensitive personal data
• Have worked with both on premises-solutions and public cloud setups
• Lead cloud transformation initiatives of on-prem solutions to one of the big public cloud providers
• Experience from managing Active Directory solutions
• Fluent in Swedish
