We are now looking for an inspiring leader, with an agile approach to development, to lead the digitalization team.
What you will do
As Head of digitalization development, you will be responsible for a group consisting of two agile teams that have the end-to-end responsibility of their products. The teams originate from a start-up within Scania, LOTS, with the mission to digitalize the transport industry and provide data driven insights and decision support for transport providers. One team is focused on our web-based applications for transport management and the other team on our analytics platform, creating value out of our data.
You will be responsible for our technology development and to building efficient and healthy agile teams. You also support your teams in their collaboration with partners and end-users inside and outside of Scania. You will work closely with the business owner for off board solutions to develop our road map and various stakeholders of the system, as well as the other managers within Autonomous Solutions. You will be located at our office in central Stockholm, and you also need to spend part of your time at our office in Södertälje.
You are a member of the Autonomous Solutions leadership team and report to the VP & Head of Autonomous Solutions.
Who you are
To succeed in this position you need strong leadership skills and a solid technical understanding. You have a lot of enthusiasm as well as the ability to see people's capabilities and to support them in their development. You have an interest in cloud-based development and data warehousing and see the potential of using data to revolutionize the transport industry. We are looking for an inspiring leader, with an agile approach to development combined with an analytical mindset and structured way of working. To fit the expectations of the role we think you are:
• highly motivated by the mission described above
• experienced in developing systems from poc to mature product
• experienced in project management in global project teams
• experienced in leading development teams within both software and data engineering
• able to lead change within your organization while keeping the team focused
