Volvo Autonomous Solutions (V.A.S) is a new entity within the Volvo Group with the mission to offer transport solutions never seen before. We accelerate the development, commercialization, and sales of autonomous transport solutions, focusing on defined segments for the on- and off-road space. The Digital and IT team is a new and growing team at Volvo Autonomous Solutions. Our mission is to enable the digital side of V.A.S. to transform from an internal start-up to a scale up. We work with our customers and partners to enable digital business models. We facilitate the work inside V.A.S. to secure that we have the right tools for the job and to succeed we fluently mix working with ambitious strategies as well as with hands on implementations.
Who are you?
As we don't know you yet, we might not have everything right about your background. But when we imagine who you are we believe that you come from business or IT background in finance, and that you seek the adventure that comes with building a new business. As a foundation, you have a relevant University degree or equivalent professional experience. You have a track record of IT development projects or know how to set-up an agile delivery, and fluently work with partners and teams across the globe.
Additional competences are:
A customer, innovation and business development-oriented mind-set
Knowledge from ERP solutions and implementation the Finance, HR or Legal context.
Experience from SaaS implementations
Good interpersonal and leadership skills: ability to effectively collaborate, network and interface with a wide variety of colleagues on different levels, across functions and geographies
Good analytical and planning skills and proven capacity to execute against targets
What will you do?
You will build up V.A.S. digital capabilities around ERP supporting the business administration needs in V.A.S., in tight collaboration with Volvo Group functions and our IT partners.
The digital product area Business Administration cover the capabilities that V.A.S. needs to run our company with excellence. You will define vision, strategy and roadmap for the digital product area, aligned with needs from V.A.S. targeted segments and line organizations.
Additional responsibilities are:
Plan and lead development activities (waterfall, agile or hybrid) for the product area
Manage interface with Group D&IT, VGCS and V.A.S. IT partners
Accountable for cost and quality of the digital products
The location for this position is Gothenburg - Sweden. We offer possibilities for a flexible hybrid work model, but are not looking for candidates that are 100% remote.
