hela Sverige The Crypto International Group operation started in February 2018 and we are now recruiting a "Head of Development" that will build and manage the "Development"-department in the new Group.
The Crypto International Group, dates back to the 1920s in Sweden, when the textile engineer Arvid Damm established a Swedish crypto company. The business was a few years later taken over by the well-known Swede, Boris Hagelin, who successfully transformed the small business into a global leader in the crypto industry. Crypto AG has been leading the way in the business ever since. It is now time for the next era in the history of Crypto AG, where we are aligning its Swiss identity with its Swedish roots and making great leaps into the cyber security world. The international business will further strengthen its crypto offering, and develop a comprehensive cyber security portfolio tailored to the increasingly complex cyber security needs of our international customers. The fusion of our unique high assurance expertise and cyber security is something that will be highly valuable for our customers that understand the true value of protecting its nation and citizens against attacks
Job description
The "Head of Development" is part of the company's management team and reports directly to the CEO. The responsibilities include building and managing the organizations development department, one development center in Lund and one development center in Zug, Switzerland. The development department today consists of 25 employees in Zug, who have joined from the acquired company.
The development is crucial for the company's success and the purpose of the Head of Development is to create and model the company 's "construction factory" - software and hardware development.
Within the department, there is also the production/supply chain. The non-security part of the production is outsourced, but the department is responsible for the supplier relations, as well as the final security relevant assembly, programming, testing and shipping to the customer.
To be successful the department needs to grow, develop and the cooperation with other departments needs to improve. Management, processes and work methods needs to be more modern and professionalized. The "Head of Development" will get a lot of freedom in defining and building the Development organization he or she believes will lead to success!
Leadership will be crucial for the company's culture change. All managers in the company are expected to take responsibility for the whole company. The "Head of Development" will not only manage its own operation, but also take an active part in, and contribute to, the whole company's business strategy.
The "Head of development" will of course be responsible for budget and management of employees, defining role descriptions, recruitment and training of new employees.
The responsibilites also includes:
* General responsibility for software and hardware architecture (SW, HW)
* Strategical and tactical work with commercial IT strategy
* Develop and maintain architectural framework and standards
* Drive development of new products
Your profile
You have an academic degree and background in software and/or hardware and at least five years' experience from similar roles. You are a skilled leader, business minded, innovative, strategical and tactical. You can turn business strategy and targets into solutions, and can create a functional work environment for your employees. You are a flexible, solution driven person with integrity, but without prestige.
As this is an international company, you will work with people from various countries and cultures. It is an advantage if you have experience from working in an international matrix organization, and are used to leading people on different locations. International travelling will be required and for the first 3-4 months at least 3 days per week in Switzerland will be required.
You are fluent in English, and if you also speak German it is highly meritious.
