hela Sverige Would you like to work with market and counterparty risk quant development in tight collaboration with the business? We are looking for an experienced and proven manager to lead our quant development organization, a unit within ISD Corporate Functions & International Sites and Market Risk in Kungsträdgården.
About the position
You will lead a newly formed organization, with staff in both Riga and Stockholm, responsible for deploying quant models in production and managing the architectural design of SEB's market risk data and systems infrastructure. The organization is closely linked to both IT and Market Risk and as such defines the sweet spot for a quantitatively inclined software architect looking to work closely with market risk development topics. You will also drive the design and implementation of a Market Risk Analytics Framework, which will form the environment in which all our quants can more effectively work with pre-production model development and prototyping. You will be part of the Global Solutions department within ISD Corporate Functions & International sites, as well as report to the head of Market Risk. You will be located next to the quants in Market Risk with whom you will interact on a day-to-day basis.

You have high integrity and ethical standards, and excellent communication and influencing abilities. You are proactive, structured and delivery-focused, with proven experience of software architect design and programming, preferably in C#.Net or Python. You have a creative mind, looking to find efficiencies across models, data flows and ways of working with development across the entire Market Risk organization.
As a manager you find strong interest in managing and developing your team, which consists of a spectrum of quants and developers. You are a team player with an analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to transform theory into concrete action. With these characteristics, you will find ample opportunities and flexibility to shape your area.
