As the Head of Data & Analytics, you will be overseeing the development of our data platform and be pivotal in steering the data strategy at Paradox Interactive. Our aim is to empower our game and business teams to harness the full potential of data, enabling informed decisions across every tier of our organization.
Key responsibilities
Manager for three teams of data engineer, data scientists and BI specialists
Product ownership of the data platform
Set the strategy and direction for analytics and BI teams
Contribute to the department strategies and align plans as a member of the Central Tech & Services leadership team
On a day-to-day basis you will lead and mentor a diverse team of data engineers, BI-specialists, and data scientists, harnessing their collective expertise to foster collaboration and innovation. You'll collaborate with studios, sales, marketing, legal and other publishing departments to identify their data & analytics needs, ensuring that the team's objectives seamlessly align with the company's overarching strategy.
The skills we're searching for...
Solid work experience in data engineering, analytics or related roles, with at least some years in a leadership capacity. We believe you have worked within the field for many years.
Strong experience with data engineering concepts such as data architecture design, data storage, ETL processes, and business intelligence tools .
Familiarity with various analytics methodologies and their use-cases
Proficient in cultivating a data-driven culture through hands-on experience.
Proven track record of building and leading high-performing data and analytics teams.
Strong technical skills, including experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python and familiarity with data tools and platforms - AWS specific tools are a bonus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
