We have an exciting new opportunity within our Data department for a Head of Data Delivery, reporting to the Chief Digital Officer. Working in the Data team, to be the interface between business/product teams and the data tTeam. This is a great leadership opportunity to join an organization passionate about data and using it to grow revenue and the business.
This role will require parallel management and/or oversight of several initiatives at any one time, delivered through multi-skilled agile teams. The role should provide a sense of structure and order to each initiative, whilst also acting as a critical ally to the product and the data team and be responsible for outcomes that deliver business value and efficiency. You will be responsible for the delivery of data products and delivering business value while ensuring that all expectations are managed with transparency and reality.
Main responsibilities
Overall, the Head of Data Delivery will lead, and secure the delivery of 'data product(s)' utilizing the most effective and modern tools and ways of working. You will work to ensure outcomes are aligned with our vision and business strategy by delivering on business data process improvements. You will facilitate continuous improvement for business data use and apply agile and lean tools and techniques. You will create and manage the Data Demand Framework, including SLA monitoring and close collaboration with Data Ownership and Data Exploitation teams. Make decisions in relation to prioritisation, planning and control of active development initiatives.
Tasks
Your responsibility comprises:
• Work with Data Engineers and build strong relationships throughout the org to gain a solid understanding of our developer/product needs
• Map data capabilities and deliveries to strategic priorities
• Gather and use data to make data driven decisions that continuously improve the reliability and operability of the analytical data environment
• Serve as the executive sponsor for data delivery process innovation.
• Secure data quality and integrity of the data products.
• Building business relationships in the AD/ADAS business.
• Be entrepreneurial and spin new ideas.
• Contribute in the product development set up.
Qualifications
• Experience of managing stakeholders at all tiers of the organisation
• Workshop facilitation with a hands on approach
• Strong execution and implementation ability in a complicated business environment
• Strong understanding of data, databases, data tools ( e.g. sql) and data processing experience
• Proven delivery capability and outcome driven
• Experience with third-party data handling
