We are now looking for a passionate and experienced security specialist to lead and build our security capabilities as Head of Cyber Security.
Job description
We recognize that information domain is where the war for privacy exists and information security is an essential part of Epidemic Sound's future growth. You will play an important part in bringing Epidemic Sound's cyber security management to the next level. This means being part of building a strong security culture within the organization and drive the maturity of the security function whilst collaborating with relevant internal stakeholders and development teams.

You will, in close cooperation with our product team, work to facilitate:
Application vulnerability assessments; monitoring and testing systems, applications and networks
Perform investigations, security monitoring, cyber threat intelligence and control measures
Analyze potential security threats and develop improvement plans
Manage security incident escalations
Oversee technical security assessments and evaluations of new internal platforms, services and applications
Develop internal policy and security processes
Be part of building and leading your own team of cyber security experts
As Head of Cyber Security, you will report directly to Chief Technology Officer.
What are we looking for?
You possess the ability to work independently as well as part of cross-functional teams, in a fast-paced organization with a start-up culture. We believe you are an easy going, structured and analytical person with the seniority to manage a team. You have great leadership qualities, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of managing diverse security teams.
It would be music to our ears if you have/are:
Previous experience of building and leading a successful security team
Solid background in cyber security, specializing in web application security. Other security domains (e.g. physical, network, operations, architecture, access control etc), is considered an advantage.
Knowledge of common web application security vulnerabilities (e.g. XSS, CSRF, input validation, etc.) and how to remediate these vulnerabilities
Ability to identify security vulnerabilities and provide security guidance to engineering teams
Experience with penetration testing, risk- and incident management. Incorporating automated methods/tools is a big plus.
Service oriented mentality with focus on customer service, team development and security culture.
Great presentation skills with the ability to communicate with both a technical and non-technical audience. Fluency in English is required.
