Description of position
The position as Head of Credit Managment is an international position with an overall divisional responsibility for Credit Management in the Nordic countries, in the field of Collection and Financial Services.
You will lead the Collection and Financial Services credit controlling team.
You are going to report to EVP Governance, Risk & Compliance and the role will need to establish and maintain communication with several stakeholders in all parts of the organization. Examples of touch points are divisional President, SVPs Business Units, Finance and Legal
The position will be located in a Nordic capital and frequent travelling is expected.
What you and your team are expected to do:
- Create and administer divisional risk strategy documentation as well credit policies (for our respective products)
- Review and improve operational onboarding routines/checklists
- Underwriting according to credit policy
- Governance for all necessary credit documentation on divisional level
- Create, administer, prepare and provide all necessary reporting according to group and divisional requirements
- Governance on bad debt evaluation routines
- prepare and consolidate credit applications
- Establish and ensure risk based pricing routines
- Monitor KYC routines
- prepare and attend Divisional Credit Committee in advisory role
- Follow up business case as well as KPIs
- Analyse and monitor client credit worthiness
What you should bring
- Academic exam in related area
- 5 years of relevant professional experience in banking or payment industry
- Experience in matrix or cross divisional set up in an international environment
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English language
- Data oriented approach
- Leadership skills and potential to develop further
- High motivation as well as collaborative attitude and be a strong team player
