ABOUTE THE ROLE
The Communications & Sustainability team is responsible for all communications within Tele2 in Sweden, as well as providing support to and coordinating with Tele2 's other markets. Moreover, the team is responsible for setting and executing the company's global sustainability strategy.
As Head of Corporate Communications at Tele2 you will be responsible for both proactive and reactive communication on a strategic and operational level for the Tele2 Group, making sure that both the strategy and toolbox are smart, sharp and relevant.
You will secure that legal and stock market obligations are fulfilled in terms of communications by providing input and media attention to IR activities such as the quarterly reports, annual general meetings and capital market days. You will also drive communication initiatives and projects within various areas such as sustainability, public affairs, technology and HR.
You will work closely with the Head of PR and the Digital Communications Manager as well as the Group Leadership Team and coordinate communication initiatives, issues/crises and on a regular basis handle Tele2's media hotline. You will also be a crucial part of Tele2 Crisis Management Team.
Your responsibilities include:
Interviews, press releases, press events, financial reporting, external speaking coordination
Crisis communications, proactive/reactive risk management, Q&A documents
Strategic projects communications (e.g. M&A, network rollout and upgrades)
Managing certain parts of Tele2.com
Corporate social media channels like LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter
Brand guardianship: corporate Identity and trademark/brand protection and registrations, external cooperations
Group vs. local coordination
Media trainings
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
We are looking for a person with a broad experience of corporate communication/PR in a modern environment, preferably in a listed company. You are a great project leader and a
people person who thrives when there is a lot going on. Furthermore, we believe that you are used to having daily contact with media and acting as a spokesperson. You should be comfortable with moving from strategic depth to quickly solving practical matters.
Formal requirements for the role include:
Minimum of 5 years' experience from corporate communication/PR
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish.
Structured and efficient doer, you are proactive and persistent with great interpersonal skills.
Relevant university degree or equivalent.
Experience from working in a listed company and/or telecom/tech
Experienced user in press release platforms such as Cision
