hela Sverige The Utility team at Svea Solar is responsible for utility scale (i.e. very large!) projects and is currently on a strong growth path both in Sweden and across Europe. The recent announcement of an investment from CarVal of 100 MEUR to deploy in solar parks across Europe doesn't slow things down. The role
As Head of Construction you will get a key role in the Utility Services team at Svea Solar. You'll manage a team consisting of project managers and site managers who are responsible for constructing solar parks and battery projects.
But what would I actually do? In detail it's about:
• Drive the daily operations of our ongoing construction activities to make sure our projects are ready in time, on budget, ensuring to meet quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Coach, support and develop project- and site managers and take on full ownership of the project delivery.
• Take a leading role in the dialogue with external stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, subcontractors and grid companies.
• Support other functions at Utility such as sales, procurement, engineering and O&M - by returning experience and overall help improve our operations
• Be a key member of the Svea Solar Utility management team and support Svea Solar as a whole in becoming a leading force in solar power in Europe

You will have a lot of fun in this role if you have a passion for construction of energy assets. Besides this we would like you to have:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in managing construction projects in Sweden (preferably energy generation assets)
• Bachelor's in engineering or equivalent through experience
• Proven track record in leading and inspiring larger teams (>20 people)
Having a growth mindset takes you a long way since this role will be instrumental in scaling our EPC business and realize >2BSEK turnover by 2025.
