hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Ikano Overseas Holding AB i Malmö As Head of Construction and Project development you will be responsible across Ikano Global businesses in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Mexico for successful pre-construction procurement, pre planning and construction delivery of all IKEA Stores, formats and channels, CDC, Shopping Centres and Mixed-use development whether directly owned or in JV set up. Responsible to coordinate with all other relevant business stakeholders, maintain business governance and to recruit key construction management, commercial, technical and planning team. Impart global experience and professionalism to motivate, monitor, support and steer project and construction managers to secure projects to cost, time, quality, risk, health, safety, design and aligned to the investment request.
Create and develop process and procedure to ensure that projects are planned and constructed in compliance with relevant Ikano manuals and local regulations. Support the Expansion Director and business to drive out efficiency, agile to new ways of working and cost saving. Promoting and benchmarking IKEA SEAMEX with wider IKEA and external companies.
REQUIREMENT FOR THE JOB

• Wide spectrum of technical knowledge of the design, planning and construction process.
• Managed projects end to end, understand need to engage and monitor all aspects.
• Produce and present concise and accurate reporting, aligned to Company requirements.
• Very good safety knowledge and experience to lead by example.
• Excellent English communications skills, written and verbal with the ability to promote the project and organisation from the construction site to the boardroom.
• Remaining calm and collected in times of crisis, uncertainty and stress.
Capabilities:
• Minimum 20 years working in development and construction project management sector in major projects with significant global experience for blue chip organisations.
• Excellent written and oral skills and confidence in communication in English language.
• Relevant tertiary education, preferably with supplementary professional charterships.
• Demonstrate through previous experience various project delivery and procurement routes.
• Succinct reporting and maintaining governance standards expected in large organisations.
• Team player and motivate and lead multi discipline teams and mentor senior staff.
• Manage diverse projects and teams over different cultures, countries and continents.
• Capability to integrate experience, local knowledge and ability and draw on wider resource.
• Flexibility to work in a diverse business, retail orientated and relocate upon opportunity.
• Attention to detail, ability to quickly review comment and input effectively into documents.
