Hexicon is currently seeking a passionate and results-oriented Head of Communication to lead the company's communication strategy and take responsibility for developing and managing our brand identity. As an integral part of our team, you will have the opportunity to influence and build our global communication function during an exciting phase of our growth journey after our listing on First North in 2021.
Job description
As the Head of Communication at Hexicon, your overall responsibility will be to develop, manage, and oversee the company's brand. You will lead the effort to create a strong and engaging corporate narrative and storytelling at a global level. Additionally, you will be accountable for driving our communication strategy and leading the communication team, currently consisting of one other individual. Together, you will cover the entire global spectrum of the company's PR.
Your role as Head of Communication also entails being the primary point of contact for external agencies associated with all external communication. Furthermore, you will be in charge of brand development by driving and managing high-impact brand initiatives, you will play a central role in fortifying our commercial success, enhancing the appeal of our employer profile, and constructing and maintaining the company's business strategy and future direction.
Additionally, you will be responsible for communicating Hexicon's quarterly reports and annual financial statements, as well as significant corporate events and financial announcements. You will ensure the consistent delivery of the overall corporate narrative across geographies and business sectors.

Your profile
Qualifications and experience:
• Extensive experience in the field of communication, including brand strategy, PR, internal and external communication.
• Strong understanding of financial communication and investor relations.
• Ability to create and implement effective communication strategies.
• Experience in crisis management and proactive handling of high-pressure situations.
• Experience working in an international environment and with global communication initiatives.
• Education in communication, marketing, or related fields is advantageous.
Skills and qualities:
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to drive results through the team.
• Strong strategic and analytical aptitude.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Creativity and the ability to think outside the box to develop engaging brand communication. '
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Passion for working in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment.
