Your mission
As Head of commercial at Global Online Business you are leading the commercial team and your mission is to make sure that our online direct consumer products become a cornerstone of Volvo Cars future business. In collaboration with the global team, you will take ownership of launching, managing and growing our online products and business successfully.
You will also
• Be responsible for marketing and sales plan and strategy for Global online business
• Build a high performing team and establish efficient cross functional collaboration with between global as well as local teams
• Lead the product & offer development team, marketing, sales
• Commercially responsible for Volvo online business globally and being the store manager for .com
• Develop and execute a global sales strategy that combines growth from current business models and new business opportunities
Who are you?

To thrive in this position, you have to enjoy taking ownership of complex tasks in a fast-paced organization. You are a dynamic, ambitious, organized self-starter. You will be expected to have a proven track record of working in a leadership role in the online world selling globally.
It is of essence that you are used to and enjoy working in a truly cross functional and global context, building long lasting relationships. You with hold excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to communicate and present ideas and strategies to different audiences with a passion for finding solutions to enhance performance. In previous roles you have a track record of successfully converting strategic objectives into practical activities and execution. To succeed you must have excellent stakeholder management skills. As well as being able to influence others with an ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
As a person you are well-organized with excellent attention to detail and high degree of analytical skills. We are looking for a new leader who can manage direct distributor and digital sales channels at a global level. You take great pride in being accountable for both your direct area of expertise as well as the success of your team and its contribution to the overall success of Care by Volvo. We believe that you dare to be bold in a thought through way with integrity and curiosity as guidelines. As a person, you are truly focused on our customers. Since Care by Volvo is in a development phase, you have a big amount of curiosity combined with a strong interest in new technology and business models.

To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include
• Experience and knowledge from the ecommerce/ online industry, ideally in a environment that is highly tech driven
• 5+ years of experience within a senior leadership role
• Experienced with working with leadership in agile and semi-agile environments
