In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• Be responsible for the financial and accounting operations of C&I, including preparing, collecting and interpreting financial information

• Preparing budgets, reports, forecasts and statutory returns, conducting financial analyses of proposals, investments and fund sources, and managing cost accounting systems and controlling

• As CFO you are in contact with Group Functions. Experience from outside of the traditional CFO role is therefore highly valued

• You have the ability to monitor and follow up the daily business within C&I with specific focus on risk and compliance. Deep knowledge and experience from the banking business is merital

What is needed in this role:

• Proven management skills, firmly rooted in Swedbank's culture built on respect, inclusion and openness

• Ability to foster a strong collaboration culture, within the unit and together with other units in the bank

• Provide leadership and direction through managers and/or senior managers owning the short to mid-term strategy execution and operational direction.

• As CFO for C&I be responsible for the business area's financial position, risk level and exposure, and the interface towards group finance / CFO and Treasury

• Build and develop a function with diverse roles and competences needed to define targets, follow-up, and optimize C&I's financial position

• Develop and manage C&I's statutory (regulatory and financial) and business reporting towards group and other internal / external stakeholders

• Support business with data-driven insights in financial planning, follow-up and in certain cases ad-hoc advice and execution in C&I-specific projects (e.g. organizational changes, M&A)

• Attract and retain high performing employees who are committed to building a leading T&CM offering and driving efficiency in administration.

• Firm understanding of credit risk both from a portfolio, industry and a standalone perspective

• Ability to successfully interact and build bridges with clients and internal stakeholders

• Solid experience of change management and implementing shared ways of working

• Good understanding of capital structure and optimisation of utilised capital

• Ability to deliver under high pressure and adaptable to changing circumstances

• Proven ability to build, lead and develop high-performing teams

• Very strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)

• Strong work ethic and professionalism

• Professional working proficiency in Swedish and English

• Relevant academic degree

• Strategic Leadership Skills as well as skills in Leading Leaders:

• Translate strategy into plans and drive productivity

• Develop Leaders

• Assess and improve the performance of leaders

• Lead across the organisation

• Select leaders and build the organisation
