As Head of Business Control you will lead and develop the Business Control function and act as co-pilot to the Head of Business Unit (BU) Electronic Warfare and Aircraft System (EWAS).
You are a member of BU EWAS management team as well as Surveillance Finance Management Team (FMT). You are expected to drive, challenge and support the organization to secure actions needed to reach financial targets and to optimize the finance process.
Areas of responsibility:
* Secure the financial processes for EWAS, including reporting, forecasting, budget, accounting practices and financial internal control.
* Highlight early warnings and propose actions.
* Support and review investment proposals and tenders (Winning Business process) from a financial perspective.
* Secure compliance obligations and that business risks are efficiently managed
* Team leadership, including performance management, competence development and recruitment.
Your profile
Qualifications and Experience:
* Team player with strong leadership skills including experience from leading teams.
* Ability to communicate affectively both verbally and in writing
* Experience in leading global complex business set-ups
* Relevant academic degree or post graduate qualification
* Positive attitude and ability to manage and drive change.
* Analytical and strategic mindset
* Fluent in English.
* Displays transparency, integrity and fairness.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

EW Systems is a part of the Business Area Surveillance
The Finance team within BU EWAS is a functional organization which supports the different Product Units in the BU. The finance team consists of 12 co-workers and organized to support the PU's accordingly.
The location of the position is in Järfälla.
You will rapport to Lisa Ekelund, CFO Saab Surveillance.
