We have created a global organisation to handle this fast-moving environment for all brands in the Traton group and are now seeking our new Head of Business Control and Strategy.
About the job
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Business Control and Strategy to join our team. You will be part of the management team that are responsible for autonomy on a global scale and for all four brands in the Traton group. You will report to the VP of Autonomous Solutions, and you will build and lead a small but highly-performing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities and will play a key role in shaping our financial and business strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Lead our business strategy and steer the business planning.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the overall goals.
• Prepare and present financial and strategic reports to the executive team and the Traton Autonomous Steering Committee.
• Manage and oversee all-controlling, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities for the total Autonomous budget including commercial, operations and R&D etc.
• Ensure compliance within all financial regulatory requirements, including tax, transfer pricing and audit obligations.
• Provide guidance and support to all departments within the autonomous areas on financial matters and business case calculations.
• Lead and mentor the finance and strategy team, ensuring their continued professional development.
• Work closely together with finance stake holders within the group.
• Responsible for special projects that are not handled in the normal flow.
• Build and be responsible for the management system for autonomy and secure it correspond to the Scania Way.
Your Profile
You are strategic and commercial driven with a proven track record of success in financial and business leadership. You are a team player that have an excellent business background and a good understanding of technology is a plus. An interest in the customer and finding solutions for their challenges is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in controlling, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting with a focus on the commercial aspects.
• Highly experienced in business planning.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work operational and in close connection so multiple teams cross brand.
• Working in an international environment.
• A plus with general understanding of development and AI.
