We believe that buses should be the preferred choice of people's transport
... by bringing people and friends together
... by being the transport solution people need
... and at the same time contribute to a better and greener planet.
With close relationships with the business and the customer, we aim to provide the most optimized functionality and services for people transport.
The group RBSB, Bus Body Systems, is responsible for the body node system and all functions that the passenger experience in our Scania Citywide and Interlink buses. The body node system is a distributed system consisting of three internally developed systems and ten purchased systems.
The main focus of the group is to develop functions for tailored customer orders (C-order) in close cooperation with Business Owners and Sales & Marketing. You will also be involved in ensuring that our body systems are Cyber Security compliant and ensure that we provide premium body functions with low energy consumption for our current and future BEV buses. More long-term challenges are to adapt functionality for autonomous buses.
Your role
In the role of Head of Bus Body Systems, you will be responsible to lead a team of ten highly skilled and dedicated people. You will also be responsible for two satellite teams consisting of 11 people.
You will be part of the management team where we together will define and realise our mission and strategies with close cooperation with cross-functions at Scania, our bus business partners and our customers. Our main strategic challenges are to put more focus on innovative functions and services for our future buses to ensure that buses are the preferred choice of people transport.
Your profile
We believe that you have a leading position today with good experience leading a group within R&D. We also believe that you have experience within systems development, preferably also in close cooperation with customers. You have a lot of drive and understand that with a strong team, you can accomplish almost anything.
Previous work experience within public transportation is a plus.
We offer
In addition to career and development opportunities, we can also offer other benefits such as distance working in Sweden, a company car, company-performance bonuses, a pension, flexible working hours, lunch at reduced prices and much more. If you live in Stockholm, we offer direct bus service between Stockholm and Södertälje, the Scania JobExpress.
