We are looking for a Head of Brand Projects, a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of brand-related initiatives to enhance the company's brand presence, consistency, and effectiveness across various touchpoints. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining and strengthening Volvo's brand identity and reputation in the automotive industry.

This is what you'll do
In this role, you will develop and execute strategies to align brand operations with the company's overall business goals, ensuring consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all communication channels. You will collaborate closely with marketing, design, communications, and product teams to ensure cohesive brand representation across products, marketing campaigns, and corporate communications.

Further, you will implement and enforce brand guidelines to maintain a consistent and recognizable brand image, both internally and externally, while adapting to evolving market trends and consumer expectations. You will streamline brand-related processes, workflows, and tools to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in delivering brand initiatives and projects.

As leader, you manage a team of brand professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence. Also, you monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, consumer insights, and market trends to refine strategies and tactics for improving brand awareness and perception. You will stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to innovate and differentiate the brand within the competitive landscape.

It will be important collaborate well with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and external partners, to align brand operations with broader business strategies and ensure consistency in messaging and positioning.

Moreover, you will take responsibility to develop and implement strategies for addressing brand-related crises, ensuring timely and appropriate responses that protect the brand's reputation.

You will oversee the budget allocated for brand operations, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum impact.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Brand, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience (8+ years) in brand management within fast moving consumer goods, preferably within the automotive or related industry
• Strong understanding of branding principles, consumer behavior, and market trends
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation for informed decision-making
• Experience in crisis management and adapting strategies to changing circumstances
• Familiarity with digital marketing, social media, and emerging technologies
