About the role
We are looking for an Azure expert, someone who knows their way around the bigger part of the Azure platform. A strong focus will be on Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure DevOps. Together with Bitlogs Architect and the Head of Development, you will be responsible for the overall technical structure and lead the way forward. Besides being responsible for the technical decisions and the personnel within DevOps, you will also work hands-on as DevOps Engineer in the team, part time. More concrete, the role will include: Managing the DevOps team (recruitment, HR, salary, coaching, education, 1-1, prioritization, onboarding).
Owning backlog and prioritizing the work.
Stakeholder satisfaction. Ensuring DevOps is an internal support function and that work processes and collaboration meet Bitlog expectations.
DevOps strategic work - making sure Bitlog have an efficient and scalable DevOps approach, CI/CD flows, automatic monitoring etc.
Working hands-on as DevOps engineer in the team, part time.
Responsibility for the tech-stack together with Bitlog Architect.
Investigate and evaluate new products/tools to use within the team.
Attend Architectural meetings moderated by Architect.
Necessary experience/Tech stack
Expertise in Microsoft Azure: Deep knowledge of the platform and its various services, including Azure SQL Database, AKS, and Azure DevOps.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server: Understanding of database design, performance tuning, and backup and recovery.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code: Ability to use tools like Terraform and HELM templates to define and manage infrastructure.
Experience with RabbitMQ: Understanding of message queuing and ability to manage RabbitMQ.
Familiarity with Redis: Understanding of in-memory data store and ability to manage Redis.
Knowledge of oauth3: Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols and ability to manage oauth3.
Strong scripting skills: Ability to write and debug scripts in languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts and tools: Understanding of network architecture and protocols, and ability to use tools like Wireshark and tcpdump.
