ABOUT THE COMPANY
Northvolt is building the largest lithium-ion battery factory in Europ. This is key for future innovation and will support and accelerate the transition to sustainable energy production and consumption. We are currently in an exciting start-up phase and operate in a busy, fast moving environment, dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.

Time is our greatest enemy. The global transformation to sustainable transport and energy, will only happen if there are enough battery cells produced at a price lower than $100/kWh.

We are a team of international experts building Europe's next strategic industry. It is a huge and complex project with lots of moving parts. We have great backing from seasoned advisors, world class investors and support from Swedish local, national and European governments.

We are currently staffing our Stockholm project office in order to prepare for factory construction to start in 2018.
