Job Description
As the Head of Assortment Controller, you will lead, motivate and develop a team of 3 business controllers in the Assortment function to reach their goals. You will work closely with the Head of Assortment in setting and driving the goals for the full Weekday assortment, as well as with leaders within buying office and production.
In this role you will play a key role in growing sales and profitability in each market and channel, with both the expectations and the mandate to make a real difference at Weekday.
Furthermore you will:
Together with the Head of Assortment set and drive the overall targets for the Weekday assortment short- and long-term, and have the overall result & profitability for the customer offer
Responsible for controlling the buying volumes in relation to our expansion and to the financial sales budget in cooperation with the Brand Controller.
Work and align cross-functionally with production, sales, wholesale and the other departments to identify and fulfill business potentials and mitigate risks.
You will be responsible to drive in alignment with overall brand goals & direction and you will be a key player in setting and driving the Weekday Assortment growth strategies towards our exciting future!
Qualifications
As a successful Head of Assortment Controller, you are a natural leader who can influence, empower and engage with your team and stakeholders. You communicate in a clear, inspiring way and you enjoy coaching and developing teams and individuals. You are result oriented with a strong salesmanship, you actively seek business opportunities and find new innovative ways to increase selling and profitability with the customer in focus.
To be successful in this role we see that you have:
At least 3 years of experience within Assortment Controlling
Degree in Business, Economics or other relevant area.
Previous experience of leadership and a strategic mindset, previous experience of staff responsibility is meritorious
Strong analytical ability to develop analysis method and controlling in your team
Strongly driven by increased sales and profitability with a customer focus
Great communication skills
Fluent in English
Additional Information
This is a permanent position based in our Head Office in Stockholm starting in October 2022 and will report to the Head of Assortment. #hybrid
