hela Sverige Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.The section "Product Engineering" is responsible for red arrow within the department "Truck Chassis Development". We continuously update and optimize the truck program produced in our global production. This is done, for example, via assignments within FQ (Field Quality), DOL (Design On-Line) and PCR (Product Change Request). The group ERTEA works with assignments leading the heavier design matters within the chassis area. The current manager of the group is leaving for new challenges. We are therefore looking for her successor.
Your work assignments
You are responsible for leading and developing the group, which consists of 13 assignment managers (project leaders). Your task will be to coach the team and support them in priorities, escalation and most of all in their own leadership. You are active in developing cross-functional cooperation and working methods, to set goals for the teams and contributing to the positive climate that surrounds the team.
We are offering a position in the section's creative management team where we expect you to contribute to the development of the section's operations together with the other members and in close relation with your group.
Your profile
• We are looking for a person who is an experienced leader with a technical academic education.
• We assume you are structured, analytical and visionary.
• You must have a strong drive and will to succeed and go to work with the incentive to create the right conditions to help your employees achieve set goals on time with the right quality.
• You see it as apparent to support them in their personal development.
• You can freely switch between details and a holistic perspective and you are a good listener and transparent in your communication, responsive to employees, the customer and the business.
