Siemens Financial Services is in strong growth and faces exciting challenge. We are now looking for an experienced/exceptional Head of Asset Management Nordics with placement in Solna.
Our division Siemens Financial Services is a global financing company within the Siemens Group. We create modern, flexible and customized financing solutions for our partners and customers that contribute to their growth and efficiency. In the Nordics we are about 170 employees and operate from our offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Helsinki, Oslo and Umeå.
The Head of Asset Management Nordics is responsible for leading a team of Asset Managers located in Sweden, Finland and Norway, supporting the new business with asset expertise and profitable portfolio management of financed assets (e.g. Information and Telecommunication, Construction, Transportation, Healthcare, Machine Tools etc.) The role will be based in Sweden with interaction with colleagues across Nordic and globally when appropriate.
The Challenge
• Lead and develop the Nordic team of Asset Managers.
• Establish and execute on a service framework involving Residual Values, Generic Collateral Values, End of Term process and pricing, remarketing activities, Asset Inspections and stock management.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external key contacts in Siemens Divisions and Business Units, appraisers, remarketing companies and experts in the target markets
• Further develop a firm knowledge of assets and market trends in defined core markets
• Communicate and inform the Chief Risk Officer regarding financial performance, future projections and any potential high levels of risk on portfolio or individual transactions
• Understanding and compliance of external and internal policies, processes, guidelines and authorities
Who are you?
• You have minimum 7 years experience in a risk or sales function in asset finance, ideally in the valuation of mobile assets
• Proven Leadership capabilities
• Commercially and P&L impact driven
• Strong knowledge of assets and markets
• A strong focus on automation of processes and efficiencies
• Strong knowledge of product and life cycle management
• Excellent negotiating skills
• Fluent in English
