Are you interested in leading a team of Architects and define/own the Architecture roadmap through a period of a genuine technology transformation? In this role, you'll report directly to the CIO. Our business is undergoing significant investment to modernize the entire technology infrastructure which will enable us to make quicker customer and market-led decisions. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The IT function covers all areas from infrastructure, security, operations, architecture, PMO and applications. In the role as Head of Architecture, you will be responsible to ensure high quality IT services to customers and end users within the group.
You will be a member of the IT management team and leading the company's Architecture Team. You will work closely with the CIO to assure:
- that the IT Strategy is aligned to the business strategy
- that IT investment and initiatives are prioritized in conjunction with the business
- alignment on all architectural levels within the company; enterprise, solution, infrastructure, security and data
- that our Architecture and platforms are cost efficient and supporting productivity/efficiency in our development and operation processes
- that we have a defined Enterprise Architecture and platforms that support smooth integration and customer interactions
- that our processes for architecture and technology governance are operationally working
- competence and staffing in this area and and a well functioning architecture department by coaching leadership and communication
- a well working cooperation and relationship with our partners and vendors
- proactive support and guidance of business development initiatives and new technology utilization
This is a full-time position with placement at one of our offices in the Nordic.
BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
To be successful in the role as Head of Architecture we believe that you have a couple of years of experience from a similar role where you have worked close to business units understanding, discussing and translating strategic and complex business requirements into architecture and technical solutions. You have a coaching leadership approach and previous experience from leading, growing and maturing an Architecture function. You have a high level of cooperative abilities and communicate easily with external partners and internal stakeholders explaining and discussing technology, architecture and business as a whole. You have a strong understanding of various Architectural principles, are service minded but with a high level of integrity steering and governing towards our Group aligned with the IT Strategy.
