Kambi IT consists of more than 200 people constantly trying to improve the process of turning user stories into shippable code. We're dedicated to value driven development, think lean software development is a great way of achieving that.
We are looking for a new leader to our team of system architects to further strengthen our IT departments ability to build scalable, available and secure solutions. You will report to the CIO and be part of the IT Management team.
As head of the architecture team you will lead a team that:
• Build scalable and maintainable systems that runs and fails gracefully
• Support Development Teams and the Product Owners. Help the teams to find technical direction and the product owners in their prioritization of work.
• Ensure that Kambi makes sound technical choices that enable the next effort.
• Currently work with these technologies: Java powered by Spring Core, REST/JSON, Lucene, Embedded Jetty, ZooKeeper, Postgres, Linux, Maven, Kafka, JMS/AMQP, JBehave
As a leader for the team you will be responsible for coaching the team and have the main responsibility over the technical choices made by Kambi and in what direction Kambi moves from a technical perspective.

• Have strong leadership skills and experience of leading and coaching teams.
• Proved ability to understand complex technical environments and have relevant experience in creating high-scalability applications
• Have worked with developing, deploying and maintaining one or more software products in production for an extended period of time
• Have both theoretical and practical knowledge of agile and/or lean software development
• Have excellent communication skills and being business-minded.
