Group Business Transformation is a new Group Staff Unit containing Group IT, Group Demand Chain and the ERP Program. The key task of the unit is to prepare and manage a transformation in SKF over the coming 5-10 years including changing the current ERP system and the way of working by implementing a SAP solution. Due to this program we are looking for an outstanding, dynamic and success orientated Head of Architecture.

He will be responsible for the architecture design and setup of the new SAP System and will have a global team consisting of Solution Architects, Technical Architects and Infrastructure Architects.

Your tasks as Head of Architecture

•          To develop ERP strategy jointly with ERP management team and deploy it into own

          department goals and objectives.

•          To ensure that business requirements are transferred into ERP solution.

•          To ensure trustful and business-minded collaboration with stakeholders on all

          levels to get and keep alignment.

•          To manage and drive change and challenge mindset at all levels.

•          To take lead in the design of the technical solution.

•          To ensure that the Blueprint is created in line with best practice in the architecture

          area.

•          To ensure all projects have appropriate architectural resources assigned.

•          To work closely with SKF Enterprise Architects team to ensure a global SKF

          Enterprise.

•          To guide a team of architects during development.

•          To ensure the architecture is documented.

•          To identify any area of technical risk or uncertainty within the program that requires

          mitigation.

•          To provide Release Project Managers and Roll-out Managers with guidance on the

          architectural aspects.

•          To ensure the link between the new process design and existing processes.

•          To build and form a motivated global cross-functional team.

•          To be responsible for staff hiring, training and development, including performance

          reviews and IDPs for all direct reports.
Our requirements

•          Solid senior management experience preferably in several areas like sales,

          manufacturing, purchasing, business development, demand chain, IT. (preferably

          manufacturing) industries

•          Excellent experience with large, complex projects and business transformations

•          Extensive experience with large, global SAP programmes.

•          Cultural fit to SKF and our employees

•          Good leadership experience with the ability to lead a global team.

•          Good experience in working in a complex business environment handling the

          uncertainty and challenges this includes.

•          Besides your profound architectural knowledge, you are able to communicate

          fluently and precisely in English and Swedish and you are very willing to travel
