We are transforming into Digital Capability Hub within Enterprise IT. The purpose of our newly founded unit, Application Management Services, (AMS) is to provide specialized expertise in configuring, integrating, customizing and supporting Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) systems. The unit's primary goal is to deliver tailored solutions within the SaaS and COTS ecosystem, ensuring these systems are successfully aligned with the organization's business processes and objectives.
What you will do
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a motivator for growth, innovation and cultural transformation within the organization. Your leadership and people-centric approach will be instrumental in driving teams to success and impact.
Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to a complementary team of approximately 250 employees and 10-12 line managers. Inspire, mentor, and guide them towards achieving their full potential, using DevSecOps mindset and ways of working.
Develop a culture of continuous learning and growth to develop our people. Identifying strengths, coaching, mentoring team members and creating skill improvement opportunities thereby cultivating professional growth and leadership skills.
Lead efforts to transform our culture into one that accepts agile methodologies, innovation and adaptability. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to build a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Develop and implement strategies for attracting, retaining and growing top talent.
Drive a culture of excellence, setting high standards for application management, quality, value delivery and collaboration.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders and users, including Product owners/managers, to understand their needs and align strategies. Cultivate strong partnerships that drive efficiency in our PaaS and COTS landscape.
Optimally manage and own the unit through organizational changes and transformations. Champion agility and adaptability within the team to respond to evolving user needs and demands.
Be responsible for the financial aspects of the unit, including budget allocation and people optimization, to ensure efficient operations, cost-effectiveness and value delivery.
You will bring
Validated leadership experience in roles of increasing responsibility, with a track record of effectively leading teams and services focused on the configuration, integration and customization of PaaS (Platform as a Service) and COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) products.
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
Solid understanding of cloud computing, modern technology stacks and standard methodologies for service management and DevSecOps practices.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to engage with multi-functional teams and stakeholders.
Agile and adaptive approach, with the ability to know the latest with technology trends and drive efficiency in service delivery.
