The Head of Admin & Governance's main objective is to provide commercial expertise to the Business Tech organization, to deliver expected business value throughout the product life cycle. Based on tech expertise and strong ability/extensive experience in Tech sourcing & procurement, you support by bringing rigor to business cases, executing deals that are qualitative, price-competitive in relation to the market and achieve business objectives, while identifying ways to optimize ongoing relationships with external partners. Furthermore, you have great leadership skills and are focused on value creation and growth by delivering commercial expertise that enables excellent customer experience and business results. Whilst being an expert in a specific commercial area (admin and governance), you are also a strong leader and work closely with other stakeholders both within and outside H&M to ensure that we are doing the right thing at the right time.
Your responsibilities include to support in defining of Tech sourcing strategy, incl. category management/planning, policies, and guardrails. Lead, develop and support a team of commercial specialists, managing the hiring, staffing and maintenance of a diverse and effective workforce and the career development and performance management of the team.

As the Head of Admin and Governance your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Drive and support in the implementation of the sourcing strategy.
• Accountable for processes, tools, policies, and strategies within the Commercial function.
• Maximize value from our supplier relationships and ensure our internal customers have the goods and services they need to succeed.
• Together with Head of Commercial and Procurement, drive realization of synergies across the group by aligning sourcing requirements and vendor selection processes.
• Support in vendor selection/negotiation processes for strategic contracts.
• Define and implement strategic parameters for the partner portfolio and ensure its optimal long-term management.
• Ensure our vendors and partner follows corporate tech strategy and bring their the best capabilities, innovation ideas and talented technologists to support the transformation of H&M and BT.

Qualification
• Highly skilled and proven contract/price negotiator with good relationships with technology manufacturers and service providers.
• Strong skills and experience in managing people, vendors & technology in a global environment.
• Good interpersonal skills with experience in procurement and people leadership roles. (Preferred procurement related certification).
• Strong financial background and a bottom-line thinker.
• Strong ability to organize and structure complex matters.
• Solid foundation in procurement, market analysis & supplier management best practice.
• Ability to develop, establish and train on processes.
• Experience in designing and managing multi-vendor setups including cross-vendor incentives and penalty schemes.
• Experience in shaping, negotiating and managing vendor performance under different constructs (e.g., RFP/RFI, Service-based ARC/RRC, Fixed Price, Fixed Outcome).
• Advocate agile methods in working style.
Direct knowledge of at least 3 Technology areas and related challenges across:
• ITIL and Service Management-Agile Engineering, including CI/CD disciplines.
• Core infrastructure components (e.g., Cloud, DC) and main challenge.
• Data platforms and analytics -Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• Modern Tech stacks for front-end development -SAP and core RDBMS platforms.
• SaaS/Cloud Based products.
