About us
Last year we have transformed Bus business at Scania and all departments working with busses to became one strong unit - KN - People Transport Solutions. We are continuing to shape our business model to suit customer needs. A new department KNA Adaptation has been created and within it, section KNAF Adaptations & Partnerships play a vital role.
Now it is time to create a new group - KNAFD Adaptation Design, where the aim is to gather all design competences, both mechanical and electrical, within KNAF section.
The group will work with creating customer value in the form of technical solutions using existing platform and components in the Scania modular system, as well as develop new technology currently not in the portfolio. The group will also work with installation of components from partners outside Scania if those can't be found within the modular system.
The group will consist of approximately 10 design engineers to start, with possibility to grow in the future.
Your tasks
In the role as a Head of Adaptation Design KNAFD, you will get unique possibility to work with product development and same time be very close to the our customers and partners. On the weekly basis you will have opportunity to discuss about coming special requests. You will also actively contribute to boosting sales of buses - by, together with sales team, benchmarking directly at customer what solutions are they interested of, now and in the future.
One of your important task as a leader will be to shape new group and develop it with Core Values in mind, which are close to my heart. You will also be part of KNAF management group and VCT working group which we have plan to establish.
Your profile
I believe that you need some years of experience as a leader or leading a team or group. It will benefit also if you have been working on product development, sales or product planning. This to be able to contribute to our strategy and goals.
