Ikano Bank is looking for a Head of Accounting and Reporting with ambitions to develop our accounting department to excellence in delivering accounting and reporting services. The person we are looking for must have proven leadership skills with lots of enthusiasm and energy. You need hands-on experience and good understanding of accounting principles and firm reporting deadlines as well as high ability to understand the overall business context and ability to see possibilities in making things differently.
This position reports directly to the CFO and is based in Malmö. For the right candidate the role can be very stimulating and it will serve as a challenge and opportunity in an international environment.

Main responsibilities will include:
• Lead and develop the Accounting and Reporting function in an international context and create a good working sprit towards other departments within the bank.
• Responsible for delivering timely and accurate statutory accounts, regulatory reports and financial disclosures as well as securing high quality procedures supporting a good internal control culture.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting GAAPs and to implement changes to these standards when applicable.
• Liaise and coordinate with external auditors.
• Being process and system owner of ERP, procure-to-pay and group consolidation and reporting systems and its supporting user guidelines and instructions.
• Own and participate in projects related to accounting and finance.
Other areas of responsibilities:
• Take an active role in various decision forums.
• Promoting the essence of Ikano and its culture.
• Being a good representative of Ikano and of the values that we represent.
Profile and qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of proven leadership experience.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in accounting - its procedures, practices and principles.
• Experience from and courage in driving change.
• Result driven & structured with a good sense of humor & ability to build good relations and work in diverse environments.
• Hands-on mentality and experience from leading in an international company working with firm deadlines.
• Good knowledge of Swedish GAAP, IFRS and VAT & Tax regulations and understanding of differences in accounting principles between countries and jurisdictions (local GAAP).
• Good understanding of group accounting and consolidation principles.
• Excellent communication skills. Fluency in Swedish and English are essential.
