Natural Cycles is in a very exciting growth phase with an ongoing international expansion. The company has grown tremendously in recent years at all levels, so we are also in dire need of taking our accounting and reporting to the next level.
As our Head of Accounting, youwill be involved in building our accounting department with work that includes everything involving the accounting processes.
We are looking for someone with a positive mentality and a "can do" attitude. A person that is driven and want to be part of, and decide on, the direction forward for making Natural Cycles an international company on the accounting side.
You will get freedom and responsibility to, together with the CFO (whom you would also report to), determine and set the standard for the accounting and reporting for the Natural Cycle Group. Natural Cycles have five small subsidiaries, all of them started during 2018, so consolidating the accounts for these companies would be something that will fall under your responsibility, and something you should see as a fun bonus for your daily work, and not as a burden!
There are lots of exciting things to do, and the pace is high, why we are looking for someone who likes to work according to these prerequisites, have a solid work experience in accounting, with a vision of what "good looks like"!
Since the working part of the population in this country spend most of their awake hours at work, it is important for us at Natural Cycles that we have fun. At work. Which you should also want to have. You're a person who wants to join and drive the development of the company forward!
The accounting is currently outsourced, so the accounting team internally consists of one and a half people. The composition and structure here are of course something that you will be involved in, and decide on, in the future!
What you will be doing
• Set up, and structure finance routines and processes
• Decide on the requirements and propose suitable ERP-system for implementation
• Financial statements (monthly, quarterly and annual accounts)
• Account reconciliation and reporting
• Ongoing accounting
• Tax and VAT
• Annual Reports
• Cash-Flow Reporting
• Consolidation for a small group of companies
For example: Reviewing the account plan. Consolidating the newly established international subsidiaries into the parent company in Stockholm, and implementing reporting procedures that are tailored to the expectations of both management and owners on the company.
What skills and experience you should have
• You have a degree in economics or equivalent, focused on accounting
• You have at least 7 years of documented experience in accounting
• You arefamiliar with accounting according to K2 and K3
• Good knowledge of Swedish VAT and tax rules
• Practical knowledge about consolidation
• You must independently have been working on producing, and quality assure, annual reports and financial statements
• You are proactive, like a high pace, and used to working in a company with many different cultures and nationalities.
