As our new Head of Accounting, you'll be a key part of Planhat's Finance function. You will work closely with the legal entities, the business leaders, and other stakeholders in the business to ensure that finance submits reports on time and according to established frameworks and practices. As Head of Accounting you will be responsible for group consolidation and develop best practices. This is an opportunity to develop in a growing and world-leading company!
Responsibilities
Work with the rest of Finance leadership to deliver the group results on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Project manage and be a key stakeholder as Planhat rolls out NetSuite for accounting and consolidation
Own group accounting policies, and communicate with Finance Managers to ensure compliance with the latest accounting regulations, group finance policies, etc.
Drive improvements in the closing process so that information is delivered in a timely manner and the reporting remains relevant for decision making
Prepare year-end financial statements for external audit in the prescribed format and support with audit schedules to evidence correct treatment
Support the business by presenting results, key performance indicators, etc. that are relevant for decision making
Support the CFO and VP Finance in other daily tasks
Skills & Requirements
To succeed in the role, you likely have (or describe yourself as):
A Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance & Accounting
Significant experience from group accounting, consolidation, accounting standards (IFRS and GAAP), preferably in a modern technology company
Experience from NetSuite, systems implementations, and other finance systems
You enjoy driving change management processes in a hyper-growth setting
International experience with and fluency in Swedish & English
We expect you to have excellent communication skills and a cooperative mindset
