The role
MAJORITY is looking for a Head of Accounting, who will be part of a dynamic, multicultural and fast paced environment, reporting directly to the CFO.
The role will be responsible for the production and completion of correct statutory and legal financial statements to internal and external stakeholders, as well as run various finance projects in tax, FX, cost and cashflow optimization. It will be responsible for managing both Rebtel and MAJORITY accounting for a total of around 10 entities and turnover of USD 110 mln.
Key Responsibilities
Overall responsible for accounting and consolidation on a group level
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly and year- end close
Establishes and enforces proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Coordinates and completes annual reports and audits
Manages the Group's outsourced accounting functions
Cash flow management
FX management and basic treasury operations
Prepares and files Income tax returns
Coordinates tax projects with external tax advisors, including corporate tax, international taxes, transfer pricing etc.
Faces regulatory issues related to the financial area
Performs ad-hoc analysis
Manages a team of two Accountants in the day-to-day performance
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant fields. Master's degree is a plus.
Strong experience as a Senior Accounting Manager or Group accountant in complex realities
Proven track record in group consolidation
Demonstrable knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations (Swedish GAAP)
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
