Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced Head Chef with a passion for Italian cuisine and strong leadership skills to oversee our kitchen operations and a team of 4-6 kitchen employees. You'll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards in food quality, creativity, and consistency - from menu planning to execution - while upholding excellent kitchen discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of 4-6 kitchen employees and all kitchen operations to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.
Develop and innovate menus rooted in Italian culinary tradition, with a creative seasonal approach.
Train, mentor, and inspire kitchen team members.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
Oversee ordering, inventory, cost control, and smart kitchen management.
Collaborate with restaurant management to support service flow and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar senior kitchen role (minimum 2-4 years), preferably within Italian cuisine.
Deep knowledge of Italian cooking techniques and culinary traditions.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in spoken English (required) to communicate with staff and international guests.
Commitment to quality, consistency, and culinary excellence.
