About Conventum:
At Conventum we can offer the best conditions for organizing successful meetings, whether it's about conferences, conventions, trade shows or music conserts. The plant consists of three flexible buildings all of which offer a unique atmosphere where a sense of 1960s meets sleek contemporary. We offer an event venue of 4800 sqm, a unique convention hall with 1,470 seats and 21 meeting rooms. Conventum is located in central Örebro, within walking distance to public transportation and hotels.
About the position
As a Head Chef you will actively manage the operation of our kitchen in cooperation with our Restaurant Manager. Together you will create the team that can deliever a great experience for our guests. As a Head Chef at Conventum you will be responsible for the quality of service and food and have financial responsibility. One of your tasks will be to deliever a dining experience out of the ordinary to our guests. You will be responsible for menues in consultation with the Elite groups F&B manager in Örebro. You will independently create concepts of menues to different events and be responsible for developing the existing range at bars, cafées and restaurants.
Essential requirements
You have a solid and successful career in restaurant kitchens where you have experience from senior/managerial roles. You have a genuine interest in food and service. As a person you are a great and responsible leader of people. It is essential that you are a good team player and able to handle at times heavy workload. You will manage sous chefs, cooks and cold buffets workers.
You will report to the site manager at Conventum and the Elite groups F&B manager in Örebro.
Practical information:
Place of work: Örebro
Hours of week: Fulltime, working hours vary over daytime, evening, weekends depending on workload and variations in seasons. We are most busy during the spring and autumn and have calmer periods around Christmas weekends, January and the summer period.
Contract: Permanent, we apply 6 month trial period
Starting date: According to agreement
Salary: Fixed salary, according to agreement
