For more than ten years Boss Media, part of GTECH's New Media and Sports Betting division, has been a leading player in its sector. It has brought a strong customer focus to its various products; Casino, Poker, Bingo and various enabling systems. Our Gaming Management System, one of our enabling systems makes us a total supplier for our customers. There are a number of similar and overlapping products within the division. The systems currently exist on various platforms and in different environments, which must be refined and migrated while still satisfying customer. This requires a long-term change management process with an insight into and understanding of the merging of products and companies within the Group.
As Head Architect, your task will be to manage and assume responsibility for the work on the overall architecture. You will be responsible for the long-term technical strategy. Your department's decisions will guide the various development and systems integration teams. You will also receive assistance from Solution Architects, whose change management work will form part of each unique customer project. You will report directly to the Head of Technology.
We anticipate that you will have solid experience of architecture issues either from having built large scale mission critical systems or commercial products. As a manager, we expect that you can act as a driving force, with good motivational skills and the ability to engage both management and employees. You will have experience of change management. International experience is an advantage. You will have excellent technical skills.
